This year in its first year of opening Cafe declare was described as an exciting newcomer in the good food guide and is now looking to expand its team with 2 exciting new chef positions to help develop a new and exciting evening service.
We are looking for dynamic and passionate Chefs who are looking for a new challenge. You will create and develop exciting menus using fresh seasonal produce with an anglo-spanish theme. We need people with personality, drive & ambition as well as the relevant experience.
Working directly for the owners your shifts will include day and evening service as well as some weekends. We offer a competitive remuneration package and a great place to work.

A YORK café which has only been open for one year has made its first appearance in the latest edition of the Good Food Guide.
Café deClare, in Peter Lane, is described by the guide as “an exciting newcomer with all-round quality”, and won special praise for its desserts, including
fresh dates soaked in coffee and cardamom syrup and a “decadent” chocolate and Guinness cake.
Clare Prowse and David North, owners of the cafe, said: “The Good Food Guide is essential reading for lovers of good food, so we are very pleased to be listed on our first anniversary.
“Our chef Sally Duncan and the team are doing great things and we’re delighted to see that recognised.”
Earlier this year, Deli deClare in Lendal was also featured in The Independent’s 2011 list of the top 50 UK delis.
